Hello! For those of you who haven’t met me before, my name is Marian Neels. I’m a mother, a wife, a teacher, a balloon twister, a cook, and now a very excited Norwex Indpendent Consultant! I wasn’t counting on getting into this, I didn’t even want to go to a Norwex Party! However, at my mom’s insistence and much cajoling, I attended, because maybe this would help my three-year old daughter who struggles with allergies and asthma. I was impressed! I then had my own party and while it crossed my mind to become a consultant I didn’t take the plunge until about 6 months later. During the summer people phoned me to see if I sold Norwex and I continued to hear rave reviews. The more I hear about Norwex, the more people I talk to, the more research I do, the more convinced I am. For example, do you know that our beds are covered in millions of dust mites and their feces and accompanying fungus? Do you know that about 50 dust mites fit on the head of 1 pin? And what about the 50 fecal pellets each of these countless microscopic animals produce a day? And guess who told me this, the world’s biggest skeptic sitting beside me in the kitchen…my husband Jerry! He was reading through my material and urged me to start using that mattress spray…when did I use it, where did I use it, how come I hadn’t used it on our bed?
But what about those good window cloths from Europe, or the microfiber cloths that crowd the shelves of very grocery store? I’ll be honest, I have debated about buying those. But what is so great about the Norwex cloths is the silver imbedded in the microfibre which eat up the bacteria. Isn’t this amazing? Exactly what I need in a busy household with three children three and under! My oldest daughter, Deanna, has not yet turned four. My second daughter, Karianna, just turned three and loves to entertain our not-so-little bundle of joy, Gerald who is 15 months and climbing on tables and counters, loves pulling disgusting garbage out of the garbage can, and looking around to see what other trouble he can get into. You see the problem is that my supportive husband often helps and will grab a cloth that I have wiped the garbage can with, or some groundbeef that spilled on the floor, and next thing you know he’s wiping one of our children’s faces. Yuck! But with anti-bacterial cloths that destroy 99.99% (just read that again!) of bacteria in 24 hours I don’t have to worry as much. Especially now that the flu season is upon us and that the H1N1 virus is making its rounds these cloths are the way to go! It’s no wonder that many hospitals in Europe are using these antibacterial microfiber cloths and that janitors are starting to use these products in educational institutions as well!
For those of you who know me, Norwex is a natural fit in many different ways. I care about the environment and favour products that are healthy for my family. According to studies, the Norwex method of cleaning should reduce your work by 75%. Their chemical-free, water-based system should also save you $ 450 a year. Isn’t that amazing! Who wants to spend more money and time on cleaning then they have to? Norwex makes sense to me!
